Thank you for this video I tried 3 times with my machine its not a brevile its a cheap Walmart mr coffee machine but on my first try it was watery and sad my second try was better but it was full of fine grind particles and my 3rd one was also watery the one with the grind particles is still good but id like less Dust in my coffee so im going to play around some more but for tonight I'm done with it and im gonna be up all night 😆 the machine is a pain but its fun

  12. I recommend always keeping the bean hopper full and removing beans after when you are done making what you want. The pressure in the hopper due to the amount of beans and atmosphere in the room can affect the shots consistency, taste, and speed of shots. Always calibrate your shots.

  24. Is there any benefit to adjusting from fine to course as the coffee grinds? In other words, the bottom of the puck will be very fine and it will get coarser as you go higher. I've read that this is beneficial and really helps with the flavor, any thoughts?

  26. Tamping pressure doesn’t actually matter that much. You’re just pushing the air out. Recommend using a rake to break up chunks and distribute the coffee before tamping.

  31. I’m disabled and can’t really tamp very good, so I got a calibrated tamper. It’s supposed to click when you’ve pursued down to the weight it’s calibrated too, I’ve only heard it click once. I have a machine that self tamps too but the porta filter corrodes! I’m not sure what to do :/
